Jamaican Social - The DataTech Business Centre

In September 2007 we held a Jamaican themed potluck social at the DataTech Business Centre.  This was an excellent opportunity for all in the business centre to get to know eachother over some tasty food and jamaican music. 

Many that attended dressed in "Jamaican" styled clothing while Bob Marley and other Jamaican artists musically set the mood for the "Limbo Contest".  We had many brave participants in the limbo contest.  In the end, it came down to one winner, who was the Limbo Queen, Jo-Anne!  Everyone that attended brought a tasty treat or dish to share.  The spread of food included jamaican themed dishes such as Jamaican Jerk Chicken, spicy salsas and dips and a wide variety of other goodies that were enjoyed by all.

Clients of the DataTech Business Centre greatly enjoy these social parties.  Many have obtained a new business client, a business referral or a new friendship as a result of these get togethers.  We continue to plan these socials 3 times a year and by doing this it creates a sense of community here at The DataTech Business Centre that sets us apart from other offices in Victoira.
